The National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) seeks nominations for a Public Director to serve on its Board of Directors. This is a volunteer position.
NAAB seeks a Public Director for the term of January 1, 2025–December 31, 2027. Nominees should be individuals whose business or professional activity is not in the field of higher education and who are not engaged in the practice or professional study of architecture. Nominees should not be affiliated with an institution or program that applied for candidacy, is in candidacy, or is accredited by NAAB.
Nominations are due June 1, 2024.

NAAB accredits professional degrees in architecture offered by institutions with U.S. regional accreditation, offers certification to international architecture programs offered by institutions without U.S. regional accreditation, and evaluates education credentials for foreign-educated architects.
