As the Executive Director, Tanya provides overall management of the accreditation, certification, credentialing, governance, operational, and financial areas of the organization, promotes the organization across the profession of architecture and accreditation, and is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors (ex-officio).  Prior to joining NAAB in 2019, Tanya spent 10 years with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) in a variety of roles, notably as their Chief Accreditation Officer and the Chief Operating Officer of the AAMFT Foundation. Earlier in her career, she served as Manager of Education for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis.

As the Director of Accreditation, Ann provides leadership, development, and day-to-day oversight for the accreditation team, building relationships with internal and external constituents to support architectural programs in the accreditation process. Prior to joining NAAB in 2022, Ann served as Assistant Vice President for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness and SACSOC Institutional Liaison at Marymount University and brings over 25 years of experience in higher education administration in the US and in the Middle East in areas ranging from institutional and professional accreditation and assessment to fundraising, strategic planning, institutional research, and program and policy development. She has presented nationally and internationally on topics related to accreditation, assessment, integrated planning, crisis management, and fundraising. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Ohio State University.

As the Director of Global Programs, Terron provides oversight to the Education Evaluation Services for Architects (EESA) and International Certification (ICert) programs. Prior to joining NAAB in 2018, Terron worked in various management roles for 11 years at an institutional accrediting agency in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor of Art in History from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Post-secondary and Adult Education, and a Doctorate in Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership and Management, both from Capella University.

As the Manager of Operations, David supports the executive office and the day-to-day matters related to the financial, administrative, human resources, communications, and governance activities of the organization. Prior to joining NAAB in 2018, David worked as an architectural designer for six years at firms in Philadelphia and served on the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Architecture Students, the National Architectural Accrediting Board, and AIA Philadelphia. He holds a NAAB-Accredited, Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University.

As the Manager of Accreditation, Sarah serves as a resource to program administrators and visiting team volunteers to review materials, coordinate logistics, and guide them through every stage of the accreditation process. Prior to joining NAAB in 2022, Sarah held roles in the Office of the Registrar at Walden University, including Compliance Data Manager for National Student Clearinghouse reporting and University Registrar. In addition to her experience in higher education administration and regulatory compliance, she has supported programmatic and institutional accreditation from the vantage point of a university as well as with an institutional accreditor, with whom she led on-site accreditation visits across the US. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University.

As the Manager of Global Programs, Dominique supports the Global Programs department, supporting Education Evaluation Services for Architects (EESA) and International Certification (ICert). Prior to joining NAAB in 2024, Dominique has worked in international education for several years, working abroad in Rome, Italy, spending this past summer in Paris, France at UNESCO. She has also worked at the University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School of Business, developing international courses. She holds a B.A/B.S in History and Political Science from the University of Scranton, and her Master of Science in Education in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania.

As the Project Coordinator, Nicki provides assistance on day-to-day and monthly administrative projects and responsibilities, supporting the Operations team, Accreditation team, and Global Programs. Prior to joining NAAB in 2022, Nicki was a research assistant at the Investment Company Institute located in Washington D.C. and worked alongside a research team to track market trends. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and served as a socio-economic research member of the Eastern Sociological Society in Baltimore, Maryland.

As the Manager of Accreditation, Lisa develops training for NAAB volunteers and programs and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of NAAB’s Accreditation Management System. Prior to joining NAAB, Lisa worked in assessment and data analysis in a K-12 school district in St. Louis. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Education Degree in Learning Analytics from Northeastern University in Boston.

As the Accreditation Specialist, Melissa supports the entire accreditation process, including providing guidance to programs and volunteers in the preparation, logistics, management, and documentation of self-study, accreditation visits, and maintenance of accreditation activities. Prior to joining NAAB in 2024, Melissa served as a faculty member and an academic department chair, responsible for the operational facets of departmental management, such as strategic planning, personnel management, program assessment, policy development, and curriculum development. She also has extensive experience in student coaching and developing strategic content for social campaigns. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production Management, a Master of Science in Consumer Affairs, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrated Textiles and Apparel Design, all from Auburn University in Auburn, AL.
